PDPlanner began as a practical solution developed by an educational technology coach seeking to streamline professional learning management. While supporting professional development across the district, the coach faced common challenges—disconnected registration processes, manual attendance tracking, and time-consuming certificate generation.

PDPlanner was originally built to help manage these tasks more efficiently. As the benefits became clear, the tool was quickly adopted across the district, transforming how professional learning activities were organized and tracked.
